Heather Hand Built Matcha Bowl | Twilight

Lavender-lilac glaze pooling into the vertical combed lines of the exterior, the clay texture pushing through in dark streaks of brown and rust; a near-black foot anchors the form below.

Wide and deep enough to whisk properly the open mouth invites the bowl into both hands the way a matcha ritual asks for. 

The combed surface catches in the grip, uneven and alive, contrasting with the smooth pooled glaze inside.

Dishwasher and microwave safe. Stoneware, fired high, made for daily use.

Warm water and a soft sponge will keep the glaze at its best the longest, but the dishwasher won't hurt it. The foot is raw clay, sanded smooth.

Lift rather than slide on soft wooden surfaces.
