Hand-built rather than thrown, this matcha bowl carries the soft irregularity of the process in its walls gentle facets and a quiet turquoise glaze. No two are alike, and that is the point. A calm, tactile object for the daily ritual of whisking and drinking.

11cm wide & 8cm tall

Dishwasher and microwave safe. Stoneware, fired high, made for daily use.

Warm water and a soft sponge will keep the glaze at its best the longest, but the dishwasher won't hurt it. The foot is raw clay, sanded smooth.

Lift rather than slide on soft wooden surfaces.
